NJ Boat Safely was established to provide fellow boaters and PWC operators the education necessary to obtain the New Jersey State Boating Certificate (right). Even more important, we help you build the skills to keep your vessel and passengers safe.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
As of June 1, 2009 everyone operating a power
boat or PWC must have a boating safety certificate.
If have a motor with more than 10hp and boat in non-tidal waters you
must present the safety certificate (above) to the New Jersey DMV and get the boat endorsement on your driver's license.
A safety certificate and a non-tidal boat license are two separate documents.
Pat Infante (instructor) of NJ Boat Safely is fully certified by the NJ State Police and will provide you with an interactive and valuable class that can be completed in 1 or 2 days.
Pat Infante is a National Association of State Boating Law Administrators (NASBLA) certified
boating instructor.
In order to receive your NJ Boating Safety Certificate you must earn at least a 70% on a 60 question multiple choice exam given at the conclusion of our course.
